"About Us"   With industrial facilities located at 514 Queenston St. in St. Catharines (just west of the Homer Bridge and Canal Road) , Ontario, Canada, Avtech Castings specializes in the manufacture of ornamental concrete statuary and composite stone décor for both the garden and the interior. Our outdoor products are made of a cast stone concrete blend that yields maximum strength and endurance to freeze thaw environments.  We offer a variety of ornaments, figurines and statues, fountains and birdbaths, pedestals and benches, oriental statuary, classic urns and troughs, animal statuary, wall plaques and planters, decorative sculptures and home décor accents.

In this section you may click on the sales@avtechcastings.com link, or type the email address into your own electronic mail software, and provide your request information in the form of an email to us.  Wholesale pricing is only available to licensed stores or establishments with a tax number.  Individuals requesting private purchases may do so and will be provided with the retail price quote for the items of interest and availability.  Products may be provided through one of our many retail outlets (stores) if available near you, or else shipping costs to your location will be provided.  Avtech Castings supplies products to gift stores, garden centers, nurseries, galleries, museums, furniture stores, tile shops, framing shops, landscape designers etc.  Private individuals may also inquire at your local stores and ask if they would be interested in ordering for you, just provide them with our website address.

How to Order:  For full price list please email us; provide your store information  and we will send an attachment with a wholesale pricelist in a PDF format.

Simply fill out your client information on an order form, and from pictures on the website product pages, fill in the code of the items of interest, the description, price, quantity and totals. Also include any other information in the appropriate boxes in the form regarding materials or finishes. You can send this to us as a quotation and we will provide the pricing to you, and then you can decide to modify it or make it an order .  You can also scan and then email the order as an attachment if it is convenient to you, alternatively, you can call in the order, or you may Fax the order in ( we will provide our FAX number via email). Please email or call to verify that an order has been sent.

You will be contacted to discuss delivery and payment methods.  We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Paypal,  certified cheque, or regular check prepaid.

Shipping:  Avtech Castings ships to most locations.  Shipping is accomplished in several ways depending on the destination and the size of the order.  For orders meeting minimum order size requirements, we deliver in our own truck to within a certain area , we ship in securely packed boxes for smaller items, and we ship on skids, which is more economical for larger loads, and is a lot less likely to incur damages during transit.

 If the order is large enough to warrant a pallet then the shipping charges as a percentage of products cost is much reduced compared to shipping in individual boxes.  It is more efficient and economical to ship on a skid.

Company Policy:

1. We require a 25% down-payment (deposit) with a credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or certified cheque before your order can be processed; this deposit will be applied as a restocking fee if the order is cancelled. All orders must be paid in full before we ship; if you would like to pay by uncertified check, it must be sent in advance; please let us know that you are sending it. If  your order is ready, we will ship as soon as  your cheque has cleared.

2. We normally ship by skid load; however if a smaller order is placed, we will ship by boxes.  We pack according to industry standards and are not responsible for breakage due to shipping.  If you have breakage, keep the broken item in the original packaging and contact us immediately so that we can file a damage claim with the shipper, and have them pick up and return the item in the original packaging. If this is left for over two weeks,  we cannot guarantee that the shipper will provide a claim, and we therefore cannot honor a refund.

3. We have a minimum wholesale order (for retail stores) of $350 for composite stone, or $500 for concrete; we normally don't accept a less than minimum order, but if you have placed and received a less than minimum trial order, we cannot afford to offer you a fully serviced account (which means any form of exchange or refunds).

4. Finishes - colours on the photo's on this website or in our catalogue are only samples of the piece as it was photographed and will not necessarily be the finish provided; please specify the material and finish that you require for your order.  In addition, we only provide the colourizations (blues, reds, greens) for custom orders; please refer to the Finishes link.
